I tried this dish for the first time a long time ago in this small American diner that’s now the site of Paradise Soho. This pancake is kind of like a delicious giant Yorkshire pudding that’s really fun and easy to make! Can you guess where this dish is originally from? Hint: it’s not the Netherlands 😛
Dutch Baby Pancake
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 25 g sugar 2 tbsp
- 120 ml milk 1/2 cup
- 5 g vanilla 1 tsp
- 70 g flour 1/2 cup
- 2 g salt 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a blender and mix until well combined
- Gently heat your skillet and melt ~2 tbsp of butter
- Pour in the batter
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees C for 15 minutes
- Serve with your topping of choice: berries, icing sugar, whipped cream
